Software Developer

Software Developer will be part of the Agile Development Team and will be involved in all areas of development and support among others as required by IT Developer Manager and/or IT Director. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Design, develop and test existing web applications based on functional and system requirements Enhance existing web applications by identifying areas for modification and improvement Maintain existing web applications by identifying and correcting errors Adapt to new languages, methodologies and platforms to meet the needs of the projects Initial duties may include reviewing code, write documentation, and follow test procedures. Later duties may include responsibility for production software components. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 1-2+ years of proven experience with one or more of the following technologies: o PHP o .NET – C# o Classic ASP o VB6 oR o Python o JavaScript Strong understanding of relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL) Good understanding of CSS/HTML and scripting Good understanding of Web Server technologies Candidate should be self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player Strong communication skills, both written and oral (English and Spanish) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
