Sr AWS Solution Architect

Experience (Must Have)
- 8+ years in software engineering, with at least 4 years designing and implementing solutions on AWS
- Proven track record as a hands-on architect on delivery teams, taking solutions from design to production
- Experience with highly available, resilient, and scalable customer-facing applications
- AWS Cloud Architecture (Must Have)
- Deep knowledge of core AWS services: compute, storage, networking (VPC), databases, and messaging
- Application of the AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Multi-AZ, high-availability, and disaster recovery design
- Senior AWS Solution Architect – Digital CX
- Serverless & APIs (Must Have)
- AWS Lambda
- Amazon API Gateway (REST and HTTP APIs)
- Serverless architecture patterns and their trade-offs (cold starts, concurrency, timeouts, cost)
- Microservices and API design (REST; GraphQL is a plus)
- Integration & Event-Driven Architecture (Must Have)
- Amazon EventBridge, SQS, and SNS
- AWS Step Functions for orchestration
- Integration patterns: pub/sub, queue-based decoupling, retries, idempotency, and dead-letter handling
- Security & IAM (Must Have)
- IAM policies and roles, least-privilege design
- Amazon Cognito or equivalent identity solutions (OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect)
- AWS KMS, Secrets Manager, and AWS WAF
- Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD (Must Have)
- Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline)
- Git-based workflows and automated testing practices
- Containerization
- Docker and containerized workloads
- Amazon ECS / AWS Fargate
- Kubernetes / Amazon EKS knowledge is desirable
- Monitoring & Observability
- Amazon CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray
- OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus, or Kibana
- Programming
- Hands-on proficiency in at least one of: TypeScript / Node.js, Python, or Java
