Sr. Backend Engineer - LATAM

e Comm Backend Engineer (1) – Hourly Payrate ($34)8+ years of backend development experience with Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 & strong PHP and PHP expertise.Deep experience building and extending Magento APIs, GraphQL resolvers, modules, services, plugins, observers, cron jobs, and message-queue consumers.Strong experience building REST/GraphQL APIs and service layers that decouple frontend applications from Magento and other backend systems.Experience integrating with catalog, pricing, inventory, promotions, customer/identity, PIM, ERP, and OMS platforms.Strong event-driven architecture / messaging experience, preferably RabbitMQ or similar asynchronous messaging platforms.Experience with AWS/cloud-native services, caching, databases, queues, observability, and distributed-system troubleshooting.Strong understanding of Magento performance, including indexing, database load, caching, asynchronous processing, and high-volume catalog/order workloads.Ability to build middleware/adapters that can map new commerce services into existing Magento GraphQL/API contracts during a phased migration.Strong automated testing, CI/CD, code-review, debugging, and production-support experience.Comfortable serving as a senior hands-on technical lead, mentoring engineers and partnering closely with the Architect on implementation decisions.Experience with leading team of 4- 6 EngineersAgile ExperienceWork hours – 8 AM to 5 PM EST
