About the role
Infotree Global Solutions is seeking an engineer to characterize process optimization strategies and troubleshoot operational issues in operations, manufacturing, pilot plant or capital projects environments. The role applies advanced engineering principles to major system modifications, experiments, processes and capital projects, and interprets results for significant operational issues or engineering projects.
Responsibilities
- Complete complex or novel assignments that require developing new or improved engineering techniques and procedures.
- Develop engineering policies and procedures affecting multiple organizational units.
- Supervise, coordinate and review the work of engineers, associates or technicians on an ongoing and project basis.
- Use advanced engineering techniques or modify advanced techniques within the area of engineering expertise.
- Apply engineering principles and practices beyond the area of discipline expertise to assignments in related fields.
- Serve as a peer-recognized engineering technology specialist in at least one area and determine methodologies in that area.
- Apply mature engineering knowledge in planning and conducting projects.
- Develop creative technical solutions to complex problems.
- Work with research, manufacturing, process development, utilities, facilities, quality assurance and validation departments to develop requirements and recommendations for large or highly complex system and facility modifications.
- Work with project managers to complete design and engineering projects within schedule, budget and quality constraints.
- Coordinate the work of consultants and architects.
