What You’ll DoArchitect, build, and ship Our client’s mobile app end-to-end using React Native/Expo - from architecture to App StoreImplement real-time financial dashboards, account aggregation views, push notifications, and AI chat interfacesIntegrate with 10,000+ financial institution connections, financial data APIs, and crypto data providersBuild secure authentication flows with biometric support (Face ID, fingerprint) and ensure financial data is handled with the highest security standardsOptimize for performance - smooth scrolling through thousands of transactions, real-time portfolio charts, instant load timesShare code and patterns with the web team where it makes sense, while ensuring the mobile experience feels truly nativeCollaborate with backend, design, and product to define mobile-specific features and UX patternsWhat You Bring7+ years of mobile engineering experience with at least 4+ years building production React Native or Expo appsStrong TypeScript skills and comfort working in a shared codebase with web engineersExperience shipping apps in regulated or high-trust domains (fintech, healthtech, banking) - you understand what it means when users trust you with sensitive dataStrong proficiency in React Native, Swift, Kotlin; experience shipping to both App Store and Google PlayDeep knowledge of mobile-specific concerns: push notifications (APNs/FCM), biometric auth, secure storage, deep linking, and app review processesStrong sense of mobile UX - you care about performance, responsiveness, and polish. If something feels slow, you fix it before being askedComfort owning the full mobile lifecycle: architecture, CI/CD, TestFlight/beta distribution, App Store submissions, crash monitoringExperience with financial data APIs, OAuth integrations, and real-time data synchronizationTrack record of building high-performance, polished mobile experiences used by thousands of usersBonus: Experience with crypto/blockchain integrations (wallet connectivity, on-chain data, token tracking) or real-time financial data visualization on mobile
