Sr Reliability Engineer

About the role

Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom is seeking a Sr Reliability Engineer for a premier biotechnology organization in Juncos, PR. This is an initial 6-month contract, with an 8-hour administrative shift and schedule flexibility as required to support 24/7 operations, including occasional after-hours engineering coverage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of manufacturing equipment through ownership of the CMMS program.
• Manage manufacturing equipment ownership, including CMMS work-order approval and closing, preventive maintenance strategy, and spare-parts definition, accuracy, and updates.
• Assess reliability and change control, enhancing equipment availability, reducing downtime, and optimizing maintenance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and 2 years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 4 years of relevant experience in a related position.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment ownership and CMMS system management.
• Reliability and change control assessment capabilities and experience enhancing system reliability.
• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical or biotech processes, validation, and documentation in highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing processes and a solid understanding of GMP/GLP standards.
• Strong technical documentation and written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
