THE ROLEThis is a highly hands-on position with meaningful ownership over ELO’s product, architecture, and engineering team, working directly with our Co-founders.You will:Build and ship AI agents used by healthcare professionalsOwn critical product and architecture decisionsWrite code, review PRs, and improve engineering velocityLead and mentor a team of 2–3 engineersWork directly with the founders on product and strategy
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORMinimum 3 years of software engineering experienceStartup experience or a proven startup mentalityExperience leading at least 2–3 engineersDemonstrable experience building and shipping AI agentsStrong ownership, execution speed, product intuition, and low ego
Our current stack includes React, Ruby on Rails, NestJS, PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS. Ideal experience with microservices. The technology is flexible. You will help determine how the stack evolves.
This role is designed for an ambitious, hands-on builder. Profiles with 15+ years of experience looking for a primarily managerial position are unlikely to be a fit.
