KPMG in Botswana invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following position: ADVISORY Supervisor – Enterprise Risk Services Enterprise Risk Services, is a division within the Advisory department that provides co-sourced, outsourced internal audit and related risk consulting services to public and privately owned entities in Botswana. The mission of internal audit is to enhance and protect organizational value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight. Duties: • Provide high quality, professional day-to-day execution of internal audit engagements and projects in line with firm internal audit methodology • Develop all engagement planning documents including process understanding documents, scoping memos, and audit programs • Supervise less experienced team members in the execution of internal audit engagements; comprising preparation and or review of working papers and preparing draft internal audit reports of completed reviews • Work on other advisory projects on a needs basis • Assist engagement management to successfully complete engagement objectives • Identify and communicate findings to senior management and client personnel • Understand firm service offerings and • Mentor and coach junior team members. Skills and attributes: • Critical thinking • Analytical skills • Communication and interpersonal skills • Team player • Leadership skills • Experience with auditing tools • Working knowledge of identification of key business processes, associated risks and key controls Qualifications and experience required for the role: • Five (5) years of experience performing internal or external audits in an audit firm. • Relevant bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate field; plus, one of the following professional qualifications ACCA, CIMA, CIA or CISA.
