What are we looking for?
As our Technical Accounts Analyst you will be responsible for the timely and accurate recording of all bank deposits and withdrawals for monthly closings, as well as efficient management of collections and payments related to technical accounts.
Main responsibilities: Analyze overdue reports and maintain up-to-date control of accounts receivable.Review and record bank statements.Manage collections for contracts and/or account businesses (Assumed Reinsurance).Manage payments to retrocessionaires and/or account businesses (Assumed Reinsurance).Control and record payments received (income receipts) and payments made (expense receipts) in the in-house systemPrepare account statements for payments to retrocessionairesMaintain and file receipts by file in SharePointPrepare weekly and monthly collection management reports.Confirm balances requested by client auditors.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience
Proficiency in MS OfficeIntermediate English (spoken and written)Experience in Accounting, Accounts Receivable, or Finance (preferably in the Insurance or Reinsurance industry)Organization and planning to efficiently manage multiple accounts, closings, and reports.Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in accounting records and transactions.Effective communication (written and oral).Proactivity to anticipate overdue issues and propose timely solutions.Teamwork, collaborating with underwriting, back office, and other areas as needed.Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
