Position SummaryAdaptive Technology Insights (ATI) is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead complex technology initiatives for one of our global enterprise clients.The Technical Project Manager will bridge business objectives and technical execution, working closely with software engineers, data engineers, architects, QA teams, product owners, data professionals and business stakeholders.Unlike a traditional Project Manager, the TPM must possess sufficient technical depth to understand solution architecture, system integrations, data flows, dependencies and software-delivery processes and to effectively challenge, coordinate and communicate with technical teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end delivery of complex technology, data and digital initiatives.Translate business objectives and requirements into actionable technical delivery plans.Partner with architects and engineering leads to understand solution architecture, technical dependencies, integrations and implementation risks.Coordinate software engineering, data engineering, architecture, QA/testing, DevOps and business teams.Develop and maintain integrated project plans covering technical milestones, releases, dependencies and resource requirements.Lead Agile delivery activities including sprint planning, backlog coordination, stand-ups, retrospectives and release planning.Track technical dependencies across applications, APIs, data platforms, environments and external systems.Identify and proactively manage technical risks, blockers, architectural dependencies and delivery constraints.Coordinate release readiness, testing, deployment and production-stabilization activities.Ensure appropriate coordination across development, QA, infrastructure/cloud, security and operations teams.Facilitate technical design and architecture discussions and ensure decisions, dependencies and actions are documented and followed through.Work with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into appropriately defined epics, features and user stories.Track project and delivery metrics and provide clear status reporting to technical and executive stakeholders.Manage scope, schedules, resources, risks, issues and change requests.Coordinate vendor and third-party technology dependencies when applicable.Promote continuous improvement of Agile, engineering and delivery practices.Ensure appropriate documentation, governance, security, quality and compliance requirements are incorporated into delivery.Serve as the primary connection between technical delivery teams and business/project leadership.Required QualificationsFluent professional English required.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.5–7+ years of technology delivery experience, including at least 3 years managing technical projects or programs.Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Experience working directly with software engineers, data engineers, architects, QA and DevOps teams.Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery practices.Experience managing complex technical dependencies and integrations.Working understanding of:Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCPAPIs and system integrationsRelational databases and SQLData pipelines and data integrationCI/CD and DevOps conceptsSoftware testing and release managementAbility to understand architecture diagrams, technical designs and data flows.Strong risk, issue and dependency management skills.Excellent stakeholder-management and executive-communication abilities.Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred QualificationsPMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, CSM or similar certification.Previous technical background as a software engineer, data engineer, business systems analyst, technical lead or solution architect.Experience with GCP, BigQuery, Python, SQL, APIs, data governance, data architecture or analytics platforms.Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, GitLab or similar engineering/delivery tools.Experience managing AI/ML or GenAI initiatives.Experience working within a large global enterprise.Consulting/client-facing experience.Experience working with globally distributed teams across the U.S., Latin America, Europe and/or India.Spanish/English bilingual capability.
