Telecommunication Intern

On behalf of Huawei we are looking for a Telecommunication Intern to join our team in Panama.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert pre-sales technical support in close collaboration with the sales team, acting as a trusted advisor for customers in the Carrier Network domain (including Access, Datacom, and DWDM solutions).Deliver compelling presentations and live demonstrations of Huawei’s technologies and solutions, clearly communicating the business value and competitive advantages to prospective clients.Represent Huawei at leading industry trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars, with a focus on telecommunications, IT, and cloud technologies.Engage directly with customers to identify and understand their specific technical requirements, and coordinate with internal technical teams to design tailored solutions that effectively address their needs.Conduct thorough assessments of customers’ existing technical infrastructures, evaluating both current and future needs, and recommending solutions that deliver significant technical and business value.Build and maintain strong, trusted technical relationships with customers and channel partners, including responsibilities such as delivering technical training, supporting solution design and quotation preparation, and participating in joint marketing activities.
RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field preferred.Language: Proficiency in English (written and spoken) as the primary working language.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support or technical sales within the Carrier Network sector. Prior experience working with Telecom Operators is highly valued.Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.Professional Attitude: Strong motivation to grow professionally and develop a long-term career within the information technology and telecommunications industry.Availability: Full-time availability to work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
