Trade Compliance

This position is responsible for ensuring the import/export operations are completed by creating Customs documents within applicable government rules and regulations and best practices, following Lutron’s Standard operating procedures and policies, and logistics. This position will interface with freight forwarders, carriers, US and MX customs brokers, and GS how to check. Key Focus: • Knowledge of US and MX Exports and imports regulations • Strong knowledge in Mexican Annex 22, 24 and 30 • Familiarity in Trade Agreements certifications and advantages • Knowledge in Harmonized tariff schedule for Mexico and US • Experience in programs as IMEX, PROCER, Rule 8 and applicable in Mexico • To create IMEX and Exports documents • Prepare forms required for import/export and global logistics • Work with Customs brokers for Entries and Permitted submissions • Filing records • Experience in inbound shipments procedures • Traffic and logistics, national and international • Ability to analyze data
Key Competencies: • Bachelor degree • English Proficiency • Experience at least 4 years in similar positions • MS Software, Pivot tables, graphics • Detail and order oriented • Strong analytical background • Excellent trouble solving • High sense of urgency and responsibility • Job schedule flexibility
