Catalan Freelance Audio Transcription & Annotation SpecialistsWe are recruiting experienced language professionals for a multilingual AI data project. This is a remote, freelance, project-based opportunity.
Availability: min 10 hours a week
Project duration: Long term
Compensation: $11 per hour
The work may include:Transcribing audio recordings from scratchReviewing and correcting machine-generated transcriptsSegmenting audio and identifying speakersAdding timestamps and labeling pauses, fillers, overlapping speech, background noise, and other audio eventsFollowing detailed project guidelines and meeting quality targets
We’re looking for:C1–C2 proficiency and idiomatic fluency in Catalan, with excellent comprehension of contemporary spoken language and a strong command of spelling, grammar, punctuation, regional varieties, and colloquial expressionsGood working proficiency in English, sufficient to understand project guidelines, training materials, and written feedbackPrevious experience in transcription, subtitling, speech annotation, linguistic data annotation, or similar language workStrong attention to detail and ability to apply detailed guidelines consistentlyReliable computer, internet connection, and headphones
