Travel LVN/LPN Nurse for Correctional Facilities in Beaumont, TX

Key Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care and assist incarcerated individuals with daily living activities. Administer medications, conduct health assessments, and maintain accurate patient documentation. Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to emergency situations to ensure patient safety. Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention. Maintain compliance with all facility protocols and accurate medical record-keeping. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to improve patient care and address concerns. Required and Preferred Qualifications Current and valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification. Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in correctional or similar healthcare settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and staff. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus. This position reports to the Nursing Supervisor and involves close collaboration with physicians, mental health professionals, and administrative staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
