THE ROLEWe are seeking a senior acquisitions professional based in Dallas who has a deep, proven track record of sourcing, underwriting, and executing value-creation strategies within open-air retail. The ideal candidate has spent their career in this specific niche — someone who knows the entire US landscape of open-air centres and can identify assets with transformation potential before they become broadly marketed.
This is a hands-on, deal-focused role for a specialist, not a generalist.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSource and evaluate open-air retail acquisition opportunities across the USLead underwriting, due diligence, and investment committee presentationsDevelop and execute repositioning and redevelopment strategiesBuild and maintain relationships with owners, brokers, retailers, and institutional partnersMonitor market trends and identify emerging opportunities in speciality retailContribute to portfolio strategy and capital allocation decisions
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR12+ years in retail real estate acquisitions, with a focus on open-air and speciality retailDemonstrated track record of repositioning or redeveloping open-air centres at an institutional levelDeep knowledge of US retail markets — you know which centres can become dynamic destinationsExperience with major institutional owners, REITs, or retail-focused private equityStrong financial modelling and investment analysis skillsExisting network across the US retail real estate industryBased in Dallas or willing to relocate
