Key Responsibilities Install and maintain cable systems for both residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality connections. Conduct thorough site evaluations to determine optimal cable routing and equipment placement, improving network reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve cable and network issues promptly to minimize downtime and enhance customer experience. Utilize specialized tools such as cable testers and splicing equipment, adhering strictly to safety protocols. Document all service orders, installation details, and customer interactions accurately in the company system for transparency and quality control. Collaborate with project managers and fellow technicians to ensure timely completion of installations and service calls. Provide exceptional customer service by educating clients on system operation and maintenance best practices. Participate in team meetings to share insights, address challenges, and promote continuous improvement. What We're Looking For Required: High School Diploma or equivalent certification. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in cable installation and troubleshooting within the telecommunications industry. Strong knowledge of cable types, installation techniques, and network systems. Proficient use of cable installation tools, including testers and splicing equipment. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges efficiently. Preferred: Industry certifications such as BICSI or equivalent wiring/network installation credentials. Experience working independently as a contractor with strong time management skills.
