Key Responsibilities Prepare and examine detailed financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards. Conduct audits to verify financial data integrity and identify areas for process improvement. Assist in tax preparation and strategic tax planning to optimize company tax liabilities while ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. Develop and monitor budgets , analyze variances, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management. Utilize advanced accounting software for accurate financial reporting, including tools such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle Financials. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies to mitigate risk. Communicate financial insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders, enhancing transparency and supporting informed business decisions. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory. Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, or taxation. Proficiency in accounting software; experience with QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle preferred. Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Preferred: Experience working in a fast-paced finance or accounting firm environment. Knowledge of New York State and federal tax regulations.
