We are currently hiring a dedicated Code 14 Driver for a permanent role to support our transportation needs. Key Responsibilities Safely and efficiently transport materials and personnel as required across the mine site. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance. Maintain accurate logbooks and submit timely reports according to company policy. Ensure vehicle maintenance is up to date and report any repair needs promptly. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding transport schedules and any operational issues. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols while operating vehicles. Participate actively in training sessions and safety meetings to enhance driving skills and safety awareness. Required and Preferred Qualifications Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Valid Code 14 driver’s license is mandatory. Strong communication skills for clear and professional interaction with colleagues. Previous experience as a Code 14 driver is preferred but not essential. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations. The successful candidate will report directly to the Transport Manager and collaborate closely with logistics, operations, maintenance, safety personnel, and site supervisors to ensure seamless transportation operations at Eland Platinum Mine.
