Job description
Join GQR Healthcare as a dedicated CVOR Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in Oceanside, California. This contract role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced cardiovascular surgical environment, delivering critical patient care and improving surgical outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgical procedures. Monitor vital signs and patient responses intraoperatively and during post-anesthesia recovery. Collaborate closely with surgeons and healthcare team members to implement and assess care plans. Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies according to established protocols. Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups to support patient recovery. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and report any condition changes promptly. Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and recovery expectations. Required and Preferred Qualifications Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California. Minimum 2 years’ experience in surgical and cardiovascular nursing. Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
