Registered Nurse (RN) Job in Providence, Rhode Island

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate health status and determine care needs.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) therapy according to established protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patients' changing conditions.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
• Document patient care activities accurately and communicate pertinent information to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Active Rhode Island RN License.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and effective communication.
• Proficient in critical thinking and clinical decision-making.
• Compassionate approach to patient care.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience preferred, with previous clinical setting experience.
• CPR and BLS certifications required; additional specialty certifications are a plus.
