TekBricks is hiring a skilled Cyber Security Specialist in Waxhaw, North Carolina. Join our team to protect our organization's systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. You will monitor security systems, identify vulnerabilities, respond to incidents, and implement best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets. Key Responsibilities Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and suspicious activity Investigate, document, and respond to security incidents promptly Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify risks Implement and maintain security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures Perform risk assessments and recommend effective mitigation strategies Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR Collaborate with IT teams to design and maintain secure systems and infrastructure Provide security awareness training to employees to foster a security-conscious culture Stay current with emerging cyber threats and evolving security technologies Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or a related field Strong understanding of network security, operating systems, and cloud security principles Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, antivirus, and vulnerability scanners Knowledge of encryption methods, authentication protocols, and access control mechanisms Familiarity with incident response procedures and digital forensics techniques Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and documentation abilities for clear reporting and collaboration Location: Waxhaw, North Carolina, United States (On-site, no remote option) Compensation: $5,000 per month Employment Type: Full-time
