TekBricks is hiring a skilled Cyber Security Specialist in Waxhaw, North Carolina. Join our team to protect organizational systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. You will monitor security systems, identify vulnerabilities, and implement security controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Key Responsibilities Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and suspicious activity Identify vulnerabilities and perform risk assessments Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM platforms Respond to security incidents and conduct thorough root-cause analysis Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing Provide security awareness training and best-practice guidance to teams Required Skills Strong knowledge of network security, protocols, and architectures Experience with SIEM tools like Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions Understanding of OWASP, malware analysis, and threat intelligence Knowledge of cloud security platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience in Cyber Security roles such as Analyst or Engineer Preferred certifications: CEH, Security+, CISSP, or CISM Location: Waxhaw, North Carolina, United States Employment Type: Full-time (on-site, remote not eligible) Compensation: $5,000 per month
