TekBricks is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence in Waxhaw, North Carolina. Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes Develop and manage data warehouses and data lakes Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, files, and cloud platforms Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems Optimize data workflows for performance and scalability Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams Implement data security, governance, and compliance standards Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues proactively Required Skills Strong experience with SQL, Python, or Scala Hands-on expertise with ETL tools such as Airflow, Talend, Informatica, or dbt Experience working with Big Data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka Knowledge of data warehouses including Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Understanding of data modeling, data lakes, and data pipelines Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git) Preferred Skills Experience with real-time data streaming Knowledge of DevOps and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Minimum 2 years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles Location: Waxhaw, North Carolina, United States (On-site) Salary: $5,000 per month Employment Type: Full-time
