Key Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles daily, adhering strictly to South African traffic laws and company safety protocols. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain delivery van functionality and safety standards. Plan and follow the most efficient routes using GPS and local knowledge to ensure on-time deliveries. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and addressing inquiries or delivery concerns promptly. Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit. Maintain accurate delivery records, including times, signatures, and any delivery issues encountered. Collaborate closely with dispatch and logistics teams to manage schedules and meet daily delivery targets. What We're Looking For Required: Valid South African driver’s license with a clean driving record and proven experience in delivery driving or a similar role. Strong communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage delivery documentation accurately. Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus. Background in logistics or supply chain operations, including route planning and inventory handling.
