Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing and organizing tools and materials. Prepare, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Take and develop dental X-rays according to treatment plans and dentist instructions. Educate patients on their treatment plans and oral health care. Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and send follow-up reminders to enhance patient experience. Support administrative tasks including patient inquiries and insurance claims processing. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure excellent patient care and improve practice efficiency. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Certification in X-ray procedures and patient care. Previous dental assistant experience preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient and team interaction. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
