Key Responsibilities Provide direct assistance with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and mobility support to enhance client independence. Document client progress, behavioral changes, and health updates accurately to maintain comprehensive records in compliance with organizational standards. Implement individualized support plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, promoting their well-being and autonomy. Encourage and support client participation in recreational and community activities to foster social engagement and personal growth. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and compassionate care delivery. Apply behavior support strategies that promote positive behaviors and effective communication, enhancing client outcomes. Assist in crisis intervention when necessary, utilizing trained techniques to maintain safety and stability for clients and staff. What We're Looking For Required: High School Diploma or equivalent credential. Strong interpersonal skills emphasizing compassion, patience, and empathy. Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping related to client support. Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in a similar direct support or caregiving role. Experience providing mobility assistance and knowledge of behavior support techniques. Relevant certifications in developmental disabilities or related fields.
