Job description
DIPANKAR CHANDA is hiring a full-time Driver and Assistant in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This on-site role combines safe, punctual transportation with logistics and general operational support. The position reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with drivers, logistics staff, and other team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport team members and materials to scheduled locations.
- Load and unload goods, securing items for transit.
- Keep the vehicle clean and functional, and complete regular maintenance checks.
- Coordinate schedules and deliveries with team members.
- Plan routes and manage transportation logistics and timing.
- Provide other operational support as needed.
- Deliver professional service to clients and partners.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and proven driving experience.
- Strong communication skills and familiarity with routing and navigation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
