Taeghan Dalrymple is hiring a reliable and skilled Drywall Installer to join our construction team in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This full-time role involves measuring, cutting, positioning, and securing drywall panels on both residential and commercial job sites. Key Responsibilities Measure and cut drywall panels to fit walls and ceilings accurately Install drywall sheets using hand and power tools efficiently Secure panels to metal or wooden framing structures Patch, trim, and prepare drywall surfaces for finishing Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Adhere strictly to workplace safety procedures and regulations Communicate effectively with supervisors and other trades team members Qualifications Previous drywall hanging or general construction experience preferred Ability to lift heavy materials (50–100 lbs) and perform physical labor Familiarity with drywall tools, equipment, and construction methods Basic knowledge of construction safety standards and practices Comfortable working at heights using ladders or scaffolding Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 50–100 lbs regularly Frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and overhead work Capable of standing and working for extended periods Work Environment Work on residential and commercial construction sites in Halifax Full-time hours with competitive pay Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage of $30 per hour based on experience Opportunities for career advancement within the company Preferred Skills Experience with steel stud framing Ability to operate lifts and scaffolding safely Knowledge of drywall finishing and taping techniques Valid driver’s license or construction certifications are an asset
