General Manager - Sales & Client Relations | Discount ACR Phoenix, AZ

Discount AC & Refrigeration is seeking a driven and experienced General Manager to lead our HVAC business in Metro Phoenix, Arizona. This full-time role offers flexibility to work from our office or remotely within the Phoenix metro area. You will be the key leader managing all business operations, client relations, and technician onboarding alongside our lead technician. Key Responsibilities Hire, onboard, manage, schedule, and if necessary, terminate technicians. Manage daily scheduling and ensure efficient service delivery. Oversee accounting tasks including bookkeeping and payroll. Serve as the primary liaison with clients: verify service requests, confirm needs, and schedule appointments. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize client retention and satisfaction. Organize sales meetings, presentations, and maintain consistent client communications. Analyze sales data to track performance and identify growth opportunities. Provide training and support to sales personnel to enhance skills and effectiveness. Handle escalated customer service issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless client experiences and service delivery. Required and Preferred Qualifications Proven experience as a business manager capable of wearing multiple hats (excluding technical HVAC work). Strong organizational, communication, and sales skills. Ability to manage client relationships and lead a team effectively. Familiarity with HVAC industry operations is a plus. Must reside in and be present within the Metro Phoenix area.
