General Worker - Mining Operations in Rustenburg, South Africa

Mathebula is seeking a dedicated General Worker to join our Mining Operations team in Rustenburg, North West, South Africa. This full-time role is essential to supporting daily mining activities and ensuring operational success in the resource extraction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily mining operations and maintenance tasks.
• Operate and maintain mining equipment under supervision.
• Keep the mining site clean and organized to maintain safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
• Participate actively in safety meetings and comply with all safety regulations.
• Perform routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Report incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions promptly to management.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum education: Grade 10 or equivalent.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Previous experience in mining or heavy industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with mining tools and equipment is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in physically demanding environments.
• Good communication skills are essential.

As part of Mathebula's mining operations, you will report directly to the Shift Supervisor and collaborate closely with maintenance and safety teams to ensure smooth and safe operations.
