Lab Support Engineer Contract Job in Philadelphia, PA

Itechus is hiring a dedicated Lab Support Engineer for a contract position in Philadelphia, PA . This role is ideal for candidates with a technical support background in laboratory environments, focused on maintaining lab efficiency and compliance. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to laboratory personnel to ensure uninterrupted operation of lab equipment and software. Maintain strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GxP). Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize laboratory downtime. Assist with the implementation and upkeep of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). Document laboratory activities including incident reports and equipment maintenance logs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve lab workflows and protocols. Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory updates affecting lab operations. Required and Preferred Qualifications Experience in technical support roles within laboratory settings. Knowledge of GMP and GxP regulations. Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and LIMS software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant technical certifications are a plus. As part of the Itechus team, you will report directly to the Lab Manager and work closely with quality assurance and compliance teams to ensure all regulatory requirements are met. This position is on-site in Philadelphia and is not eligible for remote work. Compensation: $38 per hour
