Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Contract Job in New Mexico

Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care including medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and assistance with daily living activities. Collaborate with registered nurses and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Educate patients and families on health management, wellness strategies, and post-care instructions. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and address care challenges. Assist in coordinating healthcare services and resources to optimize patient outcomes. Adhere to safety and infection control policies to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Required and Preferred Qualifications Current and valid LPN or LVN license in New Mexico . Strong clinical skills and thorough knowledge of nursing practices and procedures. Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in direct patient care. CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) software . Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an LPN/LVN is preferred.
