Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain mining equipment safely and effectively on a daily basis. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and the surrounding mining area to ensure safety protocols are adhered to. Assist in the extracting and processing of diamonds, following specified operational guidelines. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth daily operations. Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to stay current with industry standards. Report any issues or concerns with equipment or safety conditions to management promptly. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including production reports and maintenance logs. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in a mining or heavy labor environment is preferred. Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures. Ability to work well in a team and follow directions from supervisors. Familiarity with mining equipment and operations is a plus. Physical fitness to handle the demanding nature of the job. This position involves working closely with a diverse team of skilled professionals in a structured environment. You will report directly to the Mine Operations Supervisor and may collaborate with engineering and safety teams to ensure operational excellence.
