Avalon Translation is looking for a skilled PDF Translation Specialist to join our freelance team based in Texas City, Texas. This role involves translating PDF documents into multiple languages with precision, preserving the original formatting and context to ensure clear communication for our diverse clients. Key Responsibilities Translate and proofread PDF documents while maintaining original layout and design integrity. Deliver accurate, culturally appropriate translations tailored to target audiences. Work closely with project managers to fully understand project scope and requirements. Review and edit translations by team members to uphold quality standards. Handle multiple translation projects efficiently, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality. Use translation software and tools to streamline workflow and ensure consistency. Provide constructive feedback to improve translation processes and team efficiency. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Proven experience translating PDF documents. Fluency in English and at least one additional language. Familiarity with translation software and tools. Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Translation certification or related credentials preferred. Minimum 2 years of relevant translation experience is a plus.
