Job description
Join our hospital facility team in Chennai as a skilled Plumber, HVAC Technician, and Manifold Specialist . You will ensure the smooth operation of all plumbing, HVAC systems, and medical gas manifold equipment by performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and adhering to strict safety and healthcare standards. Key Roles & Responsibilities A. Plumbing Responsibilities Maintain and repair plumbing systems including pipelines, valves, pumps, drainage, and water supply lines. Install and service washbasins, taps, flush tanks, faucets, showers, and RO water units. Detect and fix water leakages, blockages, and low-pressure issues promptly. Support proper functioning and basic maintenance of STP/RO plants. Manage water tank cleaning schedules and monitor water quality to ensure safety. Respond swiftly to emergency plumbing calls, especially in patient care areas. B. HVAC Responsibilities Operate, maintain, and repair AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, split and window AC units. Conduct preventive maintenance such as filter and coil cleaning, belt inspection, lubrication, and airflow checks. Monitor temperature and humidity levels in critical hospital areas including OT, ICU, NICU, and Cath Lab. Diagnose HVAC system breakdowns and minimize downtime effectively. Perform basic maintenance on chillers and cooling towers as needed. Ensure HVAC systems comply with NABH standards for hospital air quality. C. Medical Gas Manifold Responsibilities Monitor and operate medical gas manifold systems for oxygen, nitrous oxide, compressed air, and vacuum. Maintain daily logbook entries for cylinder pressures, gas levels, and consumption. Coordinate with vendors for timely cylinder replenishment and supply management. Inspect for leakages, ensure regulator functionality, and maintain manifold safety compliance. Assist in troubleshooting pipeline issues for medical gas outlets in wards, OTs, and other critical areas. Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India Employment Type: Full-time Salary: ₹20,000 per month
