QA Engineer in Waxhaw, NC - TekBricks Full-Time

TekBricks is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer in Waxhaw, North Carolina to ensure software quality and reliability. This full-time role involves testing applications, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with development teams to deliver high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts Perform both manual and automated testing to validate software functionality Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) Collaborate with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure alignment Ensure applications meet both business and technical requirements Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and team meetings Required Skills: Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies Proficiency with Selenium, TestNG, or similar automation tools Basic SQL skills for database testing and validation Familiarity with JIRA or equivalent defect tracking systems Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Location: Waxhaw, North Carolina, United States Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $5,000 per month
