Job description
Role Summary: The Sales Executive (SE) at SK HR Consultants in Chicago, Illinois, is a key driver for new business acquisition and strategic client relationship management within the Employee Benefits sector. This full-time role demands expertise in consultative selling, risk strategy, and collaboration with a dedicated service team to deliver tailored benefits solutions. Key Responsibilities: 馃敼 New Business Development Proactively prospect new clients through referrals, professional networks, industry events, and partnerships Maintain a robust sales pipeline at least 3x the annual sales target Utilize CRM systems to track leads, client interactions, and sales activities Identify and leverage cross-selling opportunities across Gibson鈥檚 diverse service lines 馃敼 Client Strategy & Relationship Management Lead the development of benefit and risk strategies for new and existing accounts Recommend customized program structures and coverage options aligned with client needs Manage renewals, carrier proposals, and coordinate service timelines with internal teams Ensure compliance with client expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards 馃敼 Consulting & Risk Management Analyze trends in risk, claims, and benefit design to inform client strategies Educate clients on evolving insurance and employee benefits solutions Build and maintain high-retention client relationships through proactive advisory services Qualifications: Minimum 5 years experience in insurance sales or professional services consulting Proven track record of managing and growing a book of business Exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills Possession of a Life & Health License or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and CRM platforms This position is full-time and based in Chicago, Illinois. Remote work is not eligible.
