SAP BW/ECC to Databricks Migration Consultant
Location: Dallas, Texas, United States (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Visa Eligibility: USC, H1B, H4-EAD, L2-EAD
About the Role:
Hardik is seeking an experienced SAP BW/ECC to Databricks Migration Consultant to lead a critical data modernization and migration project. This onsite role in Dallas requires expertise in SAP BW, SAP ECC/S/4HANA, Databricks, and cloud-based data engineering.
The consultant will analyze existing SAP BW/ECC data environments, understand business and data transformation logic, and design scalable solutions to migrate SAP data and workloads into Databricks.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience delivering SAP BW/ECC modernization or migration projects and be adept at bridging SAP data platforms with modern cloud data engineering technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute SAP BW/ECC to Databricks migration and modernization initiatives.
- Analyze SAP BW environments including data models, InfoProviders, ADSOs, transformations, DTPs, process chains, and data flows.
- Understand SAP ECC/S/4HANA source systems, SAP extractors, and business data structures.
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines to migrate SAP data into Databricks.
- Translate SAP BW transformation and business logic into Databricks-based data pipelines.
- Develop ETL/ELT workflows using Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and Python.
- Build and optimize Delta Lake tables and modern data architectures within Databricks.
- Perform data mapping, reconciliation, validation, and quality checks between SAP source systems and Databricks.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, optimize, and modernize legacy SAP data processes.
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BW, SAP ECC/S/4HANA, and Databricks.
- Proficient in PySpark, SQL, Python, and cloud data engineering concepts.
- Experience in large-scale SAP data migration or modernization projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Dallas, TX.
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $60 per hour
