Jacks is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Rochester, New York. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative electrical engineering projects that directly impact client success and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Design and develop advanced electrical systems and components using cutting-edge engineering principles. Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues to improve system reliability and performance. Lead project planning and technical assessments to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Collaborate closely with mechanical and software engineering teams to achieve seamless system integration. Prepare and present comprehensive reports, including design specifications and test results, to stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize engineering processes and practices. Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative team environment. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical engineering or related fields. Exceptional troubleshooting skills with a strong focus on system performance optimization. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar electrical design software. Professional Engineer (PE) certification highly preferred. Experience with project management principles is a plus.
