Software Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities Design and implement test plans and test cases based on system requirements and technical specifications. Execute manual and automated testing procedures to identify software defects and performance issues. Document and communicate test results, defects, and improvement suggestions to development teams. Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, providing input on software functionality and testing requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand features and resolve issues. Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to enhance testing efficiency. Stay up to date with the latest testing tools and methodologies to drive improvements in software quality. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance. Proficient in automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. Understanding of Agile development methodologies and practices. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
