Special Education Teacher Job in Philadelphia, PA

Synco Staff X is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our Philadelphia, PA team. This full-time role focuses on delivering personalized education to students with diverse learning needs, fostering academic and social success in a collaborative, innovative environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs. Use diverse teaching methodologies and tools to engage students and promote effective learning. Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction and interventions to ensure success. Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment encouraging participation and behavior management. Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and stakeholders to discuss progress and collaborate on support strategies. Engage in professional development to stay current with special education best practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and specialists, to support holistic student development. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field. Strong skills in patience, communication, problem-solving, assessment, and behavior management. Preferred: Relevant special education certifications. Knowledge of special education laws and regulations. 1-3 years of experience in a special education setting preferred. This position reports directly to the school principal and works closely with a passionate team of educators dedicated to student success.
