Key Responsibilities Design and execute comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases to ensure the functionality and performance of web services hosted on Render. Develop and maintain automated testing scripts to improve testing efficiency, reduce manual effort, and increase reliability. Perform API testing to validate service endpoints and ensure accurate data integration across systems. Document defects and issues clearly and collaborate closely with developers to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve bugs effectively. Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, contributing testing insights to sprint planning, retrospectives, and user story refinement. Conduct performance testing to evaluate application responsiveness, stability, and scalability under various load conditions. Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure seamless integration and deployment of web services. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 2-3 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing roles. Strong proficiency in testing methodologies, automation tools, debugging, and defect documentation. Experience with SQL for database validation and ensuring data integrity. Solid scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript) to develop and maintain automated tests. Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner. Experience working in Agile development environments with a collaborative mindset. Preferred: Knowledge of web services architecture and cloud hosting platforms, specifically Render. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
