Transnet , a leading logistics and freight transport company in South Africa, is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. Key Responsibilities Manage and schedule daily tasks to optimize time and resource allocation. Collaborate with various departments to support operational execution. Monitor task performance and report progress to management. Maintain documentation and records related to operational activities. Troubleshoot logistical challenges and propose effective solutions. Participate in team meetings to discuss objectives and improvements. Contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency. Required and Preferred Qualifications Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent. Strong time management skills to meet deadlines effectively. Experience in logistics or operational roles preferred. Familiarity with industry-standard software tools is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. As part of a collaborative team, you will report directly to the Operations Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams to improve workflow and service delivery. This role is not remote and is based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. Compensation: R6,000 per month.
