Sasol coal mine is hiring a dedicated Truck Driver in Secunda, Mpumalanga, South Africa. This full-time role involves operating heavy vehicles safely and efficiently to support mining operations by delivering essential materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and safety standards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and performance.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and secure loads.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Report vehicle malfunctions or issues promptly to management.
• Follow company safety policies and operational procedures.
• Coordinate effectively with logistics personnel to manage delivery schedules.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating heavy vehicles.
• Knowledge of heavy vehicle operations and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret road signs and maps.
• Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.
