We're looking for a detail-oriented Upwork Account Manager to join our team on a contract basis. Located on-site in Toronto, this position requires consistent presence with no remote option, ensuring close collaboration with our team and clients. Key Responsibilities Create and verify an Upwork account alongside our team, including ID and selfie verification to ensure compliance and authenticity. Maintain account activity daily on a dedicated PC or laptop with a stable internet connection, ensuring the profile remains competitive and visible. Monitor and manage the Upwork account status to prevent suspension or inactivity penalties, contributing to sustained client engagement. Optionally communicate with U.S.-based clients during their business hours, providing timely responses and fostering strong client relationships. Participate in interview calls and ongoing client discussions when comfortable, supporting the sales and project acquisition process. Collaborate closely with senior software engineers to maintain a professional and competitive profile that aligns with company standards. Report regularly on account performance metrics and client interactions to management, driving continuous improvement. Adhere to company policies and data security protocols when handling sensitive account information.
