Review balances on medical accounts, investigate the reason for underpayments, analyze and send information to the correct payer department., Monitor and resolution of unpaid claims, reconsiderations, and appeals with the insurances., Verify precertification requirements with the insurances prior patients visits at the hospital., Confirm the authorization status with the insurance and update in the clinic/hospital portal.

Dispatch 3rd party vendors for the purpose of installation, repair, and troubleshooting activities, Provide technician check in and check out upon arrival and departure., Conduct daily follow up calls with scheduled vendors to ensure that the appointments are met, Update services tickets using the appropriate notes/documents to facilitate and keep updated the services., Work along with the supply chain department to make sure that the devices are available as well as onsite prior the service.

Communicate with the different insurances, to verified eligibility for the policy., Confirm if prior certification and authorization is required for a service., Create the process for prior authorization before the patient’s service., Follow up the prior authorizations made with the health plan or the third party of the health plan., Contact the practice managers/physician to obtain the patient medical information, that the health plan might be needing in order to proceed with the approval.
