With four unique dining venues across our campus, our cooks prepare everything from restaurant-quality meals to fresh, made-to-order dishes and nutritious meals served in our healthcare and cafeteria settings. ⏰ Schedule

8-hour shifts scheduled between 5:00 AM and 7:30 PMEvery other weekendHolidays as scheduled🍳 What You'll Do

As a Cook, you'll prepare high-quality meals while maintaining exceptional food safety, sanitation, and customer service standards.

Depending On Your Assigned Kitchen, You May Work In

🍽️ Fine Dining Restaurant – Prepare beautifully presented meals in an upscale dining atmosphere.

🔥 Made-to-Order Kitchen (Line Cook) – Cook fresh menu items to order in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

🥗 Cafeteria/Healthcare Dining – Prepare nutritious meals in a high-volume setting that supports residents and healthcare services.

Responsibilities Include

Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner serviceSetting up and organizing your workstation before meal serviceCooking menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standardsPreparing ingredients and planning for upcoming meal periodsMaintaining proper food labeling, dating, rotation, and storageFollowing all food safety and sanitation proceduresSafely operating commercial kitchen equipmentCommunicating inventory needs and product concerns with the Chef on DutyCompleting cleaning and closing dutiesWorking collaboratively with fellow cooks and dining team members to provide an exceptional dining experience👨‍🍳 What We're Looking For

The Ideal Candidate

Has a passion for cooking and preparing quality mealsEnjoys working in a team-oriented environmentTakes pride in food presentation and customer serviceCan work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchenDemonstrates strong attention to detail and food safety practicesIs dependable and adaptable to a variety of kitchen settingsPrevious cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, senior living, hotel, or institutional setting is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

👨‍🍳 Graduate of culinary school or have 1 to 2 years cooking experience in a health care setting, restaurant or dining facility.
