Job description:Job title: Senior Controls Engineer – Codesys/Beckhoff PLCDuration: 6+ months on w2 without benefitsLocation: Sterling Heights, MI
Job Summary:We are looking for senior-level Controls Engineers with strong PLC programming and automation experience, specifically in Codesys/Beckhoff environments. Candidates should also have hands-on experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs, along with familiarity supporting PLC logic through object-oriented programming languages such as Python, C#, and JavaScript.
Work Location / Travel:Approximately 75% onsite work at customer location in Sterling Heights, MIRemaining 25% work from Wixom, MI officeNo separate expense reimbursement available
Required Skills & Experience:Strong experience in PLC Programming & DevelopmentHands-on experience with:Codesys / Beckhoff PLCSiemens PLCAllen Bradley PLCAbility to modify or support applications written in:C#PythonJavaScriptUnderstanding of Docker images/containers is preferredExperience with integration, commissioning, debugging, testing, and production launch supportStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent English communication skills are mandatory.
Preferred Profile:Senior-level “A+” Controls EngineersExperience working on automation launch projectsCandidates comfortable with onsite work and customer-facing environments.
