Job description
Meraki7 Inc is hiring a full-time Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Texas. This direct-hire role provides in-home physical therapy services to patients in Brenham and DeSoto, Texas. Compensation is $45 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Visit patients at home to provide therapeutic treatments and exercises that support mobility, functional goals, and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and consult with the supervising Physical Therapist about treatment plan adjustments.
- Educate patients and families about exercises and activities that support recovery and quality of life.
- Document care and patient progress accurately and promptly.
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current Texas PTA license.
- Valid CPR certification.
- At least one year of home health experience as a physical therapist, as stated in the posting.
- Home health experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing home care situations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
