Accessibility Test Engineer

Tasks

• Perform end-to-end accessibility testing across Web, Desktop, iOS, and Android applications using screen readers and assistive tools.
• Assess digital products against WCAG 2.1/2.2, Section 508, and EN 301 549 criteria.
• Analyze HTML DOM structures, ARIA attributes, color contrast ratios, and keyboard focus states.
• Write detailed accessibility reports and log clear defects in Jira to help software developers remediate compliance issues.

Requirements

• 4–6 Years overall with 3+ Years dedicated to accessibility testing.
• W3C WCAG v2.1/v2.2, Section 508, and EN 301 549.
• Proven hands-on testing with JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
• Web, Desktop (Windows/Mac), and Mobile (iOS/Android).
• Proficient in code inspection, color contrast analysis, and writing technical accessibility bug reports for engineering teams.
• WCAG 2.1/2.2, Section 508, JAWS, VoiceOver, NVDA, TalkBack, ARIA, Code Inspection, Accessibility Auditing.
